Most people are pretty familiar with James Lipton, host of Inside the Actor's Studio. If not the man himself, at least Will Ferrell's brilliant impersonation of him.
What you might not realize, is that in his earlier days, he was a pimp. Not in the way Kevin Smith uses the term (quite liberally if you ask me). No, I mean he was a feather-in-his-hat wearing, cane swinging, whore runner! He did this when he was young, broke (justifiable?) and living in France (arguably makes it classy?).
Lets fast forward the tale of WTF to the late 80s and put it in the world of awesome cartoons. Remember Thundercats? I do! What I don't remember (because I, until recently, did not know) is James Lipton writing the theme song. For real? A French pimp AND a cartoon theme song writer? Eat your heart out Forrest Gump!
So lets see, he is a ladies man (when money is involved at least) and creative (ditto)? Good thing he isn't funny. Oh wait!
